Welcome to the Golden Nugget Chapter, NSDAR

The Golden Nugget Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was officially chartered on October 12, 1991.

The first gathering of Paradise area women who were interested in forming a local chapter of the DAR was held on June 8, 1991, at the Sacramento Savings Bank. Here they selected the name Golden Nugget and elected a slate of officers. The Golden Nugget Chapter, NSDAR, was officially chartered on October 12, 1991.

Iola Brewton was elected the first regent of the Golden Nugget Chapter, NSDAR.
